Evans Properties, founded in 1951 in Dade City, Florida, is a family-owned agricultural and land-management company with properties in eight counties across Florida. Most of the company’s land holdings are devoted to citrus and cattle. Evans is one of the larger citrus growers in the state, and currently operates 16,000 acres of citrus groves. Beginning in the 1990’s, Evans expanded its business operations to include real estate entitlement. After the hurricanes of 2004 and 2005 spread canker across the state and citrus greening was discovered in 2007, Evans began exploring new agricultural ventures such as farm-to-fuel crops and “water farming”.

Evans has more than a half century of experience in land management and stewardship. As industry leaders, our approach is to take a long-term view of the situation, and to identify and take advantage of opportunities that will ensure our success in the future. We are truly committed to the environmental perpetuation of not only our land’s resources, but contributing to the pool of renewable resources in Florida.
